Oscar Villalobos (b.1987), Visual artist from the Academia Superior de Artes in Bogotá. Recognized nationally for his work on urban landscapes and lush jungles, scenes of reality. He has received important national and international reviews and has been an artist for 15 years. Villalobos is a Colombian artist whose work focuses on addressing the social and environmental problems derived from displacement and armed conflict in Colombia. His work reflects his personal experience as a survivor of displacement in the jungles of Guaviare, with the problems of living in an invaded neighborhood in Bogotá, which gives him a unique and authentic perspective of these realities.
