Fidia is an Italian artist born in Italy in 1977, living and working in Los Angeles, whose innovative work has earned him worldwide acclaim. His journey into art began at a young age, fueled by his family's artistic talents and his fascination with street art, hip hop, and other subcultures. By the age of 16, Fidia had already refined his skills as a talented muralist and illustrator, setting the stage for his successful career. After completing his degree in Production Design at The Academy of Fine Arts in Florenzo, Italy, Fidia continued to expand his artistic horizons, working as a graphic designer, art director, and photographer throughout the 90s. However, it wasn't until he visited the United States in 2007 that he decided to devote himself fully to the fine art world. With his mastery of illustration and painting as a foundation, Fidia's work has been elevated to a new level of creativity while mastering his preferred medium of sculpture.
Fidia's sculptures have since been showcased in some of the world's most important collections and public spaces, including the Venice Biennale, the Moco Museum in Amsterdam, the Spy Scape Museum in New York, and the public permanent collection of the Mandarin Oriental in Taipei. His work evokes a wide range of reactions, from laughter and selfies to profound reflection and critique, establishing his status as a true artistic visionary.
